Today, I begin the last year of my twenties. I’ve had a little vacation from my beloved iPhone and computer today, so it wasn’t until just now (at 7:30pm) that I opened up Facebook to find over 200 notifications, all well-wishes from friends, family, and fans. I’m not going to lie – the first thing I did was start crying like a baby. The next thing I did was start this blog post.
I am so overwhelmed and grateful for all of your love and support. Every day, and especially today, you all make me feel so special. I feel the impact of your love everywhere I go, and I carry it with me in everything I do.
“It takes a village to raise a child,” but it also takes a village to raise and support an artist. YOU are my village. When I am unsure if I can go on, you lift me up. When I don’t know my next move, you guide me. When I can’t see my way around a problem, you shine a light.
This village of mine is all a network of families. There is the family I was born to, the family I was raised by, the family I have chosen along the way – and my family of fans which seems to get wider and stronger all the time. As I embark on this next year, I feel optimistic about whatever comes next, because I know you’ll be right there with me.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
All My Love,
(Going to wipe the mascara off my cheeks now,)

There is no need to use words. I knew years ago that u are a wonderful, sensitive and very special “girl”.
On your “mascara-is-running-down-my-cheeks-day” in August, you’ve written down so many brillant words, emotional, one could feel they came straight from your heart, this very special moment, ….
I know why your family (s) love(s) you.
